Lori Chapman Unrau L.Ac
_Lori Chapman Unrau L.Ac. is a state licensed, NCCAOM board certified acupuncturist. Lori began her acupuncture training at The Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, TX in 2002 and completed it in St. Louis, MO in 2010 with the additional training from Senior Acupuncturist Afua Bromley. Her practice is a blend of acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, Chinese internal strength training (Qigong) and acupressure incorporated into the session. Lori studied Zen Shiatsu at the Desert Institute of Healing Arts in Tucson,AZ and is an AOBTA Board Certified Shiatsu Practitioner. She has her Bachelors degree in Communications and Spanish from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO.
Lori is an experienced practitioner, having taught Asian Bodywork and Qigong for over 20 yrs. She currently sees patients at Acupuncture St. Louis, MO, one of the leading teaching and treatment practices in St. Louis since 2010.
Lori is a longtime practitioner and instructor of Tai Qi and Qigong. She began her training in Tucson, AZ with Master Wen Zee, studying Wu style Tai Qi in 1995. She studied Chi Nei Tsang and Unwinding The Belly with Mantak Chia and Allison Post in 1995. In Austin TX she studied medical Qigong with Jampa Stewart, and Master Li in 2001-2002. Since 2011, Lori has been training and performing Yang and Chen style Tai Qi, Tai Qi fan and Tai Qi single and double sword with Sifu Xing Xue, a Shaolin Monk from Shaolin Temple in China.
Lori is available for workshops, classes, demonstrations and private classes in Qigong and Chinese medicine.
